‘Did you think you had Eze’ – asked a reporter from Thomas Frank. Thomas, appointed only recently as the manager of a shite club, responded in an attempt to create some humour by asking back –
‘Who is Eze?’
Well, he just scored a hattrick in a NLD after 47 fucking years and by the time 90 mins were done, Spurs fans were already at home, probably sobbing and blaming the cold. If you are one of those and delusional enough to think you own North London, let me just say that even with a 4-1 win, we were more frustrated than you lot because we couldn’t keep a clean sheet. You are used to losses so that was just a regular day for you.
Right, that was a brilliant evening for us Gooners. A 4-1 victory over Spurs, at Home, hat-trick from the man who had almost joined Spurs but the club brought him to Emirates in the last minutes, Saka dancing and fans staying and singing once the match was over. And we did all this without our first choice striker, and our best defensive player while Hincapie started his first game in place of Gabriel. Our captain was missing too.
We took the lead in the 36th minute when Mikel Merino set up a beautiful ball to Trossard who, very precisely, put it into the nets. Eze, doubled the lead in 5 minutes when he put the ball into the nets courtesy of Rice’s assist. We went into the break 2-0 and Frank made some changes hoping he could turn it around. I am pretty sure he is aware of the spursy nature of that team but hey, he is paid enough to at least try. Eze made it 3-0 only 1 minute into the second half, assisted by Timber but that lad was dreaming of something more.
Richarlison scored a good one from far away. When you play a high line and your goal keeper is involved in setting things up, this can happen. I don’t mind it more than Raya, who would be furious to not add this game to another one of his clean sheets. Frank made some more changes but Eze scored his 3rd in the 76th minute and made sure that no one but the red and whites celebrate the day.
Spurs were so shite we didn’t even need to use set pieces to beat them.
We had finished 2nd, three seasons in a row. We lost points in dead games, injuries derailed us and there were some very odd decisions from the manager. This season, we lost our best defender and yet Hincapie finished his 1st full game with a 9.5/10. Odegaard is out injured but Eze comes in and does better. I was doubting Trossard but he has proven that he can play better than Martinelli when he is given a chance. We have a saucy striker who looks adapted now, was out injured but we didn’t miss him. Saka was world class and will remain so.
Now, onto the next game in Champions League tonight against Bayern. Only 3 teams are with a perfect score so far, and two of them are playing each other today. Bayern sits at top of the table with equal points and same goal difference but have scored 3 extra goals than us. That also means we have conceded 3 less than them, in fact, we have conceded fuck-all so far in 4 games in the group stages and Bayern will test that today. We will be without our best CB partnership but Hincapie dropped a bombshell of a performance against Spurs so I am not really bothered.
To finish in top 8 and avoid 2 extra qualifying games later, we have to win at least 6 of the 8 games. After today, we will be playing Club Brugge, Inter and Kairat. Inter Milan is the third team with all wins so far. Frankly, it’s not a do or die situation for us but there’s always some uncertainty in Champions League. We saw Chelsea beating Barcelona last night, and Newcastle losing to Merseille thanks to 2 goals from the ex-Arsenal man, Aubameyang. Anything can happen, so make the most out of what’s in front of you.
Martinelli and Madueke are back in the team. Odegaard might also be available, though I doubt Mikel will bench the hattrick man for him. Mikel, when asked about facing Bayern, had to say this –
For sure, this is the kind of game in the competition that we want to face, and we’ve been very consistent in both competitions; they have been as well, and tomorrow is a great test for us to see where we are.

A very challenging game indeed, and the one which will highlight whether we have progressed to win something of importance of this year. Beat Bayern today and the boys will go home in confidence. Also, there can be only one team sitting at the top and we would love to be the one.
See you during the game.

I was surprised when I saw odegaard on the bench as this is the type of game which he thrives , dominating possession against a team with a low block, not that he did anything special when he came on other than roll the ball to saka as per usual or recycled the ball sideways.
Eze shouldn’t escape criticism, he never really had any influence on the game , but that could be said for most of the starting X1.
Trossard made a big difference with some subtle passes behind the wolves back line , at least he was willing to try something different which gave gyokeres something to feed off.
I have said all along that I’m not convinced by gyokeres and nothing I’ve seen since has changed my mind, he seems to have mastered the art of being in the wrong place whenever the ball is put in the box.
Our own goal winner came about because our striker (jesus)made a run across the defender who probably for the first time was put under pressure when heading the ball clear.
Despite securing the 3 points , this performance may have a psychological effect on the team as it was by far our worst of the season, we need to get it out of our system quick, Everton away will be tough , they played well v Chelsea yesterday, grealish and Ndiaye are tricky customers on the wing , Arteta’s choice of full backs could be pivotal to how the game pans out , Ben white will be out so it should be Timber and Calafiori as full backs with saliba and Hincape in central defence.
I presume Odegard will be back alongside rice and Zubimendi in midfield , trossard on the left , saka on the right then it is a choice between gyokeres and merino up top as it is probably still too early for jesus to start as he’s slowly working towards 100% fitness , he’ll probably start v palace in the league cup..
As I said in the week , there will be ample opportunities for fringe players to stake a claim in the side in the coming weeks/months due to our involvement in all comps.
Have to say I was very disappointed in the way we approached the game in the early stages , I think we got it totally wrong.
Wolves should have been there for the taking , which means we needed a fast start with high intensity .
What we got was the players taking an age over every free kick , the same with the long throws which I believe are a waste of time and can leave us open to the counter attack.
It had me shaking my head every time we launched a long throw or free kick in to the box , surely we should be more subtle than that and should have been looking to play one and 2 touch football to feet, I can’t remember in the first half any occasion when we tried to feed the ball into gyokeres feet in and around the area , it’s obvious that he hasn’t the capabilities of even a giroud in the box to escape his marker or make a near post run and yet we kept using the same tactic (if you can call it that).
If we want to be considered a serious contender in the league and Europe then we need to keep the ball on the floor and have better movement and intelligence, lumping the ball in the box against a team that has only gained 2 points this season is only playing into their hands.
Real shame, Wolves could not hang on and we would have been one step nearer from getting rid of the moronic cunt.
With Alonso and Slot on thin ice at Real Madrid and Liverpool, there are plenty of options about for a non cunt to be the next manager
And Fabregas.
AF
I would take Fab4 – Como have a ground with a capacity of less than 14K. Currently 6th in Serie A but were beaten by Inter 4-0 last time out.
Luis Enrique, Herr Flick and Gasperini need to be in the conversation too I think, along with that geezer at Bournemouth.
I’d take a pass on Fabregas. I lost any respect for him when he wore that fucking Barca jersey after Spain won the WC and engineered his way out.
Lots of good options.
If Alonso gets sacked, I would go for him.
But then I would take anyone over this this cunt and his utter bollocks.
No wonder why Wicksy likes him. He nearly talks as much bollocks as he does.
Slag.
My fear is we’ll sick with cunt until Enrique has gone to another PL club and then the fanboys will be saying “see we said there were no managers out there”.
They’re almost as bigger cunts as Arteta.
Some interesting fixtures today to take our minds off yesterday’s shitfest.
Marc

Gasperini doesnt want to leave Italy ( I dont blame him) – it was a wrench to leave Atalanta.
The chap at Bournemouth is good – with the spending power that has been afforded El B he would have served up a more exciting approach.
I think I’ve discovered what it will take to get Captain Fucktard ousted, losing the title to Unai…now I don’t think Villa has enough depth to actually pull it off, but if they did surely that would force some of those thirsty Artetite fucks to reconsider their position
on another note, if City can get back a fully healthy Rodri, which certainly isn’t a given, they could be on to something, as Cherki and Reijnders are starting to get their PL legs under them…the former has some magic in those feet and the latter has the energy and skillset to terrorize opposing defenders in and around the box…still think they might be a year away, but today they beat a very solid Palace side without getting out of 2nd gear
you know I’ve been stumping for Gasperini for years now, but as Norg has suggested he appears to be unwilling to leave Italy…still think our biggest miscue was when the AKBs wouldn’t relent and it cost us fucking Klopp…we would have had multiple titles by now
Likeable Emery winning the title with VIlla after they had to sell players and our cunt choking like a dog again after buying 8 and spunking a billion would just be too good to be true and the best Christmas present.
Klopp won’t manage another PL club so he’s not an option, Ancelotti is tied to Brazil until 2030 and is 66, We’ve already been down the road with Emery so we’re decided on Enrique.
Excellent.

The meltdown from Pedro would be priceless – I genuinely think medical science wouldn’t be able to save him.
Art,
I liked your rankings. But I had Stubborn a little higher than 789th. More like 666th! I must be going soft.
It’d never happen, but maybe Stuivenberg or even Heinze (although I fucking hated him as a United player) could also be coaches turned managers. Given we have Berta on board, an Italian might have priority.
But hey, we’re all getting wildly ahead of ourselves.
As well as a brilliant player back in the day, I remember Pat Rice had a terrific record as interim manager (on 2 or 3 separate occasions). Not so much Stewart Houston.
The only three managers worse than Stubborn
Tony Pulis
Christian Gross
Mick McCarthy
Stubborn is joint 4th worst with
Allardyce
Dyche
Alan fucking Pardew
Kroenkephobe
If this cunt won the league 3 times in a row, I would still want the cunt out.
Some pots of silver wont
change that.
Its looking like every season , Emery was seriously mugged off and set up to fail to allow this moronic cunt to change the club and manoeuvre into a different direction.
I.e get more middle class liberal cunts like Starmer spending their money on the club.
He has Villa purring and seems to be a bloke who learns quickly and gets better every season
Alonso out
Emery in to Real Madrid ?
Not that Starmer pays for anything.
Another cunt who loves a freebie.
My point being.
Middle class lefty cunts like the cunt.
And that’s who the club wants.
Cunts.
Yesterday was nearly the moment when LiR exploded into life in the hope that Arsenal were dropping points at home , I could imagine the groan of disappointment from the usual suspects on here as the ball thundered into the back of the net for our winner.
Instead what we have had are basically futile suggestions on who will be the Arsenal’s next manager, the problem you have is that Arsenal already having a manager who is top of the Premier league , top of the champions league and in the quarter final of the league cup which makes it virtually impossible to find someone with a better record than Arteta this season.
My advice to you would be to save your energy as we won’t be changing our manager anytime soon.
City winning 3-0 at palace may look like it was a stroll but they were very fortunate to go in at half time with a lead, in fact if you look at city’s last 2 games they have allowed 31 shots at goal (conceding 1) , whilst attempting only 18 (scoring 5) , very efficient in the final third but conceding so many chances will eventually catch up with them.
For context , Arsenal had 17 shots compared to 3 from wolves yesterday.
Oh look who has popped up
The cunts fluffer in chief
You should know better being an old cunt, that being a cunting cheerleader and giving it large with stats does not make you better than any other supporter.
You think those slags who THINK they own the club give two fucks about your loyalty.
Now go and wipe that stale cunts spunk from your chin.
Chin chin
