Fuckin’ hell, we haven’t seen proper football since ages. We have three world cup winners in our squad, though Raya couldn’t get a start (remains a mystery to me) and Zubimendi played just about the minute you needed to finish a plate of tikka masala. Mikel Merino outdid Ronaldo in the world cup in about 1/5th of the minutes he played, but hey, we surely don’t want to be in a situation to give him a start.
Right, fuck those Spursy cunts, I am happy football is back and thr starting line up is out.
Raya starts in the goal – no wonder there. We have gone with a back 4 of White, Mosquera, Gabriel, and Calafiori – which makes sense considering Saliba and Timber are out. Mikel has finally come to senses and given Lewis Skelly a start in the midfield alongside Rice and Odegaard. We have got Saka, Havertz and Tzolis starting up front. Gyokeres wouldn’t like it to be replaced by a part timer but you can’t really do much if your manager prefers someone else.
That bench looks solid as well, Hincapie, Eze, Gyokeres, Madueke, Nwaneri, Merino, Zubimendi, Dowman and Kepa are players fit to start in any of the Premier League teams. Maybe not Kepa, but he is a Premier League winner so who knows.
Coventry – a club that’s back in the Premier League after 25 years would be hoping to put up a fight at least, and the first days always have some surprises, but I am sure it won’t be this game. I am very interested to see the front 3 combination, whether Havertz has improved him scoring ability and how he links up with Tzolis and Saka.
No Martinelli on the bench means it’s over for the Brazillian. I always liked him, and I have nothing but praise for the kid. He would certainly be in the list of what could have been, just below Wilshere, if things have gone a bit differently.
Right, that’s me done. My laptop finally gave up to the extent of no return, that’s why you don’t see a complete makeover of London Is Red before the season begins. I am still searching for a good one.
See you in the comments.

“The thing is , fans can’t applaud Arteta’s treatment of Ozil, Martinez , ESR and Aubamayang and then complain when he is ruthless with Martinelli.”
You’re just trolling now.
What was the combined sales value of those players?
Slagsy
Without giving us a huge fucking deluge of bollocks
Answer this
If you gave any cunt £1 billion and six seasons to manage Arsenal with all the inbuilt advantages would that cunt have the team near the top of the fucking league ?
This cunt is not ruthless, he is a fuckin circus act and a cunt, who will keep fucking spending on overpriced until he gets the fuckin sack.
You want to see a talented coach look at Brentfords one.
And you want to see a good manager look at Hulls and Alonso of Chelsea.

Hope you had a decent summer mate. Your use of the term ‘deluge’ seems typically on point given the context. Nice one.
AI says…
The French phrase usually quoted as “après moi, le déluge” (or après nous, le déluge) translates to “after me, the flood”.MeaningThe expression describes a reckless or selfish attitude toward the future. It means that a person does not care what disaster, chaos, or ruin happens to society, a company, or other people after they are gone or have left power, as long as they are fine during their time

You missed off inheriting Saliba, Saka, Martinelli, a GK who won the World Cup shortly after in fact a squad that had finished 2 points off 3rd the previous season.
In other words, when Arteta fucks off, his fanboys will be left high and dry.
Kroenkephobe
Deluge = French
Bollocks = English
Both fucking great words.
So many great words out there
But you still cant beat the beat the best word ever invented.
Cunt.
Marc
I deliberately missed that out.
The moronic cunt also had Leno and Martinez in tow and some how landed up with Ramsdale and a huge fuckin financial hit..
We all like Slagsy, but there are thousands of cunts who think the same as him.
We are breeding a fuckin nation of cunts and dimwits, who cant think for themselves.
What these fanboys cunts dont realise is how fucking liberating being an actual miserable cunt is.
Spurs looking egg bound tonight against the Addicks. I’ve got a huge soft spot for Charlton.

How’s that QPR-supporting neighbour of your’s getting on?
If LiR had an annual awards ceremony for personality of the year, my vote would go to him every time.
This latest Spuds team reminds me of the very worst of Arteta’s Arsenal. Horseshoe shaped, slow and turgid passing trying to bore the opposition to death.
There is not a lot in my last 3 comments that is complimentary towards Arteta and that includes calling him ruthless…..heartless is probably more applicable.
To reply to Ufraud I will give a balanced reply.
It is not a given that spending a billion will bring success, united and Tottenham are evidence of that, plus Chelsea haven’t won the league for 10 years.
The days when the likes of Chelsea and city could buy the league are gone as we now have what looks like at least 5/6 sides with unlimited funds. Taking that into consideration the difference maker will be the manager and Arsenal showing patience with Arteta is being rewarded as we are the most stable club in the league.
Our competition are all playing catch up on Arsenal , there is no reason to carry on the criticism of Arteta unless there is a dramatic decline in our performances, but all the signs so far point to better performances than last season.
If you continue to show Arteta deranged syndrome it will only frustrate you as you will be left in a type of limbo of not being sure if you want the team you support to win or to lose..
Pricksy—could you be more fucking obtuse? (rhetorical)
(1) when you say “ruthless” you’re not criticizing that twat, you’re actually complimenting him and we all fucking know it…I’m sure if you had expounded upon that point any further you would have undoubtedly listed a handful of all-timers who likewise acted in a similar manner…so save your fucking breath…this would have been far more acceptable if Arteta’s Arsenal was a fucking meritocracy, but clearly that isn’t the case…please don’t make me list all the largely meritless fucks this gutless turd has signed/shoehorned since arriving here, especially if the ultimate goal was the creation of a dynastic organization in North London
(2) your billion dollar response completely ignores the contextual nature of the situation in question…you act as if what has happened here was MA’s plan all along, while completely ignoring the fact that he pivoted from the original brief on 3 separate occasions(to save his ass) only to ultimately land on the most bland brand of football in the modern fucking era…meanwhile fucking Enzo tried to do likewise, after winning the fake World Cup two summers ago, and he was given less than 6 months…conversely, Enrique has won the last two CLs in a fraction of the time, while spending considerably less and playing a vastly more attractive brand of football…so if you don’t think any other managers could have done what MA has done here with such an exceedingly long leash, financial backing up the ying-yang and such low expectations, regarding the ultimate product on the pitch, you’re fucked in the head
(3) the very fact that you continue to harp upon the whole Arteta deranged syndrome speaks to your clearly unabashed admiration of both Trump and LG’s Pedro( just so you know your political overlord and his paid hacks stole that expression, like everything else, as it was originally coined by a columnist regarding former President Bush)…we all get that you arrived here as a result of the fact that no one gave a flying fuck about your dime a dozen know-nothing commentaries on that site…as such you intentionally sought out a blog with a predominantly anti-Arteta slant in the hopes that your days of being completely ignored would finally come to an end…you’re such a sad fuck that you would rather subject yourself to an inordinate amount of abuse than continue your Willy Loman ways on LG…knowing this, you deserve everything you get…be careful what you wish for dicksmack
Apparently Liverpool are about to sign Barcola – we desperately need a left sided attacker especially if Martinelli is going but no we’d rather buy more DM’s, CB’s and FB’s.
What a cunt.

You took off his pants and we can all see duas pedras hanging side by side.
I would say the best English word I learnt in England wasn’t bollocks.
It was cunt. Miserable cunt if you allow me 2 words.
Martinelli is most likely gone. Gabriel Jesus is frozen out now. Trossard was sold earlier. We are left with one LW in Tzolis, who is new to Premier League.
Either we are bringing a big name for LW or, we are going to regret it by Christmas.
How can you have a midfield of Declan Rice (110m), Zubimendi (45m), Bruno G (75m), MLS – homegrown but should cost 60m easily, Odegaard, Eze (65m), Nwaneri and then go into the season with Saka/Madueke, Gyokeres/Havertz ans Tzolis as your front 3.
Cheers Hoopah—two peas in a fucktard pod
so far today it appears as if MA had some “tough” conversations with both Jesus and Marts, following which they both left the facility…our cake and eat it too MIT clearly wanted to hold off on any such discussions until a replacement or two were on the cusp, without care or concern for a couple of players who’ve given their all, even when the manager didn’t have their best interests at heart…keeping in mind that I would have never signed Jesus in the first place…like I said earlier, if our manager employed a merit-based man management model I would have no problem with removing anyone from the room, should an upgrade become available, but that simply hasn’t been the case during MA’s tenure
now maybe this means we’re in the crossing and dotting phase with a player or two, most notably Alvarex, so it’s push comes to shove time…no matter the case there’s nothing our twat of a manager can say to make me believe that Alvarez passed his supposed non-negotiable test regarding the need for incoming players to feel “something unique about Arsenal”…fuck me I wish someone would have a tough conversation with our flip-flopping forked tongue fuck of a manager…that said, I would rather have Alvarez than MA’s 15th and/or 16th choice options
a fwe other quick notes:
(1) it appears as if we’ve terminated another fucking contract with little to show for it…clearly Nelson’s wages were a significant stumbling block, so it was cut and run time for another one of MA’s mindboggling re-uppings/signings…he must have some sort of record in this regards…fucking embarassing…good luck Reiss
(2) looks like Emi’s on his way to Chelsea…this could be a pivotal signing for them, if he’s motivated…they’re biggest issues are in the defensive end, epsecially with that bag of toes Sanchez in between the pipes…he might be an above average shot-stopper but that doesn’t offset his accident waiting to happen tendencies…looks to be a smart move by Xavi
(3) speaking of which, I’ve always despised that weasel fuck Enzo Fernandez…not only do I think he’s a piece of shit as a human, I likewise beleive he’s vastly overrated as a midfielder…shame on Chelsea for raising everyone’s MVs when they significantly overpaid for that clown…this isn’t to suggest that I think he’s a fucking hack, I just think his cons outweigh his pros…make sure you don’t haggle too much with City Xavi for fear that he might return to your locker room and wreak havoc again
We’ve got some tough games in the CL draw.
Arteta needed to have got our transfer business done sooner. By all accounts we’re chasing Alvarez but he doesn’t want to come so chances are they’ll be a panic buy – more money pissed up the wall.

Alonso might just be the managerial appointment of the season – I’m amazed Liverpool didn’t go for him with the connection.
Unlikely he’d win the PL in his first season but a few shrewd moves would get the players and fans onside and give him a real opportunity to push next.
Marc—looks as if the meddling American part-owners are flying the coup, which might be at least in part due to the hands-off assurances Alonso has been given…if that’s the case he could be provided with the time required to right their wayward ship…all I know is I saw Palmer smile more in one match than the entirety of last season, so good things could be in their future…it’s difficult to judge him on half a season at Real due to the mitigating circumstances, as he wasn’t handed over the reigns like with Jose this offseason…I guess only time will tell
