Four more. Hold onto your seats.

I’m not a big fan of Arteta and his football. But I wasn’t a fan of Pep and his football either and all the titles him and City won do get counted, still. So, if we win something – and there is a very good chance now that we will – I will celebrate it as if Mikel is a phenomenon that only happens once in a century.

It’s been 22 years since we last won the Premier League title. As for the Champions League, we have never won it, having played our only final in 2006 losing to Barcelona 2-1 after going down to 10 men in the 18th minute. I was too young to even remember it, and more into cricket that time.

We are 3 games away from the league title – West Ham (A), Burnley (H), Palace (A). All 3 games are winnable. David Moyes did Arteta a favor after Everton limited Man City to a draw and gave us the upper hand. It’s in our hand, we go on and win our games and what City do of theirs won’t even matter.

The harder one of the two trophies is the Champions League. PSG under Enrique has been brilliant and is playing some of the best football right now. They beat Bayern in the semis and I would say they will be the favorites in Budapest. But, hey, it’s a 90 min game and whoever is ready to kill and die on the pitch that day will walk away with the trophy. Whoever wants it more, will decide the outcome.

We are in a wonderful place. We can surely win the league title and we can surely go out and choke PSG in the finals. However, this also means that a couple of bad performances will leave us with no trophy, and the only improvement will be of playing finals  instead of semis compared to last season.

If you would have told Mikel and the players that they can win the title by beating West Ham, Palace and Burnley and Champions League by beating PSG at a neutral venue, at the beginning of the season, they would have bite your hand.

Hopefully they would be dreaming of it. The manager, the players because we fans surely are.

West Ham today, they have their own relegation battle so anything can happen. I hope we don’t mess it up but it’s not the time anymore to do speculations, guess what can happen, who will start and what kind of football we play. The only thing that matters is, 11 players on the pitch and a win.

We can do it. We have come close three seasons earlier and we can do it the 4th time. I am keeping my hopes high.

Fartso, you know what’s really soppy?
Letting yourself get so upset over a team you don’t support. You’ve clearly never had a ticket and wish you could come.

Don’t, you wouldn’t last two mins at the Ems. Plastic

We have soppy cunts now crowing how fuckin rich we are.

As if these cunts are going to get any of this money?

How fucking, brainwashed, dense and soppy, do you have to be, to do that.

As if the greedy billionaire cunts in charge are suddenly going to give these new riches to them.

One day, they will come around to my way of thinking

That is, they are all no good greedy cunts taking the piss out of us, exactly like in those two articles.

Greedy no good cunts. End of fucking story.

Fuck I hadn’t heard the Southampton punishment – being promoted is worth well over £100 million.

That’s a huge penalty – I can’t make my mind up if its disproportionate for what they did but fucking hell.

the league could be decided within the next couple of hours, should City fail to get a positive result against Bournemouth, and if that was to be the case I would definitely give the player flowers, especially those who’ve had to endure the myriad of growing pains that have come along the way with our little MIT in charge, but it won’t alter my opinion of the manager

now some of the more dimwitted amongst us might wrongly suggest that we needed to adopt a completely different style of play in order to achieve great things, especially after Wenger failed to win anything of real consequence during his second term in office, but that’s simply not the case…the reason why Wenger continually fell short wasn’t predicated on his tactics of choice, but his unwillingness to bring in and cater to the kind of players who could take his preferred brand of football to the next level and beyond…whereas the reason why MA opted for this gentrified brand of backyard football is that he quickly realized, regardless of his fake-ass displays of bravado, that he couldn’t match wits with the best and the brightest, so he attempted to dumb-down the game to his level…tbf this stunt wouldn’t have likely worked in another time when there were true blue alphas in the room, but right now, in this period of transition, the odds of this dark arts flop-dependent salute to Pulis working were exponentially raised

so it wouldn’t surprise me whatsoever if we won the title for the first time in more than two decades, as the odds are clearly in our favour, and even the CL, as anyone can win a one-off, but those results won’t sway my opinion of the manager…that said, I will continue to support a large segment of the squad who’ve put their heart and soul into this undertaking and have done nothing wrong except signing extensions knowing full-well that it was always going to be an uphill battle with this chickenshit imposter in charge

I look at it from a different perspective – they’ve given Arteta a massive amount of support and money. Normally I’d be in the camp of you have to speculate to accumulate and if investment breeds success then success should allow more investment and so on.

My issue is they’ve spent a billion quid to produce a higher performing Tony fucking Pulis Stoke team. I just don’t enjoy watching us play anymore, the anxiety of tight matches that we need to win – don’t care. Last night I turned over before halftime because I hate what we’ve become – I get wound up we’re not losing.

Anything to get the cunt out of the club.

The CL Final will see Football vs Anti Football.

All true fans of football will be rooting for PSG – Arteta is an extension of Pep’s style of football and has taken control to mind numbing levels of side / backwards passing.

Enrique is the complete opposite – his teams aren’t a joy to watch they’re a fucking religious experience.

Throw a game like Villa did against Spurs the other week and the authorities and bottom feeding media scum run a fucking mile and cock a deaf un

Be a smaller championship club and video some training footage of the opposition and its like the worst thing , anybody has ever done.

All about money for a greedy handful of clubs.

The game is fuckin rancid and rotten.

all stadiums should have these sort of tight confines…unless calling this a spectator sport is just fucking lip service

  9. Kroenkephobe

Bournemouth winning. 5 minutes to half time.

  10. Ambarish K

Fucking hell, we might win the league tonight.

    Come on you Bournemouth legends.

  11. Marc

City aren’t even a pale imitation of previous seasons.

They used to be a machine, not great to watch but highly effective. This season they look like a collection of very expensive parts from different supercars that just don’t fit together.

    Marc,
Temp Cherries and Chelski. I’m off for a match at the Emirates Hub, old media darlings and their sons.

N5 is going to be live if it stays like this. Go Junior!

Who cares, we are winning the league 🏆 1️⃣

  14. The Real Vieira Lynn

Marc—Pep’s City has certainly become harder to watch since KDB’s form dropped off several years back, as they’ve lacked the kind of cutting edge through the middle of the pitch they once had…now of course Cherki could change all that, but Pep has relied too much on the likes of Silva this season, who left to his own devices would gladly dribble in a small circle for 90+ minutes

  15. Ambarish K

I have an important work in morning, as early as 7 am and now I can’t sleep without watching the full game. It’s already 1.

But I guess I can sleep tomorrow and a much better one.

    TRVL / Marc

City may be shite this season, but they are losing the title in 37th match week. They spent huge money and probably have a handful of players best in their position. With the best manager on the planet.

45 minutes and I can watch the rest 2 games without my heart in my mouth.

  17. The Real Vieira Lynn

this title is ours so long as Pep continues to make chickenshit selections…unless he swaps Silva and Kovecic for Cherki and Foden/Marmoush

  18. The Real Vieira Lynn

Shite is a relative term Ambarish—in terms of all the sides in Europe, they aren’t shit, but in terms of previous incarnations, they’re shit…that’s not just about talent, as they have some talented players, but they don’t make sense for his preferred style of play and he’s not willing to have a complete rethink…that said, he’s been far trickier lately, from a formational standpoint, but it might be too little too late…if he does leave this summer some of their short-sighted acquisitions will make more sense

  19. Ambarish K

In Arteta’s defence, he has made more chickenshit selections than Pep.

    :))

  20. The Real Vieira Lynn

two of those 3 sub choices were correct, but you can’t take someone with goals in him, like Semenyo, off…likely going to get scored on if Bournemouth continue to counter with intent
