I’m finally done with the rituals that comes with having a kid in our culture. A month at my ancestral village, with AQI in double digits, fruits and veggies from the farm, empty roads and no honking, clear and visible night sky – things that are “normal” for them were something “awesome” for me. Made up my mind, 10 years and I will go back to where I was born.
But, before that, are we going to WIN? City are only 2 points behind us with 10 games to go. Last couple of months have looked familiar, we have seen it 3 times under Mikel and we dropped points to Wolves and Brentford. We did win NLD but hey, their ex-manager is calling them ‘spursy’ on podcasts these days and it’s hardly a contest in recent time.
Today’s a challenge. Anything but a win and City will be level on points. I don’t see us making it from there, Pep knows how to win things when it matters. And Chelsea are not going to make it easy for us. All we have to do is win our games, let them drop points before we do, and then we can think of winning the league this year.
Kai and Merino are out. Ben White is a doubt but hopefully we won’t miss him. I would personally go with the same playing XI we had against Tottenham. Calafiori in place of Hincapie can be OK, but lets not go back to Odegaard. Eze did well, and he needs couple of games in the #10 role to truely dominate games. He is our only players apart from Martinelli who got creativity outside of Mikel’s system and can do something on his own. The first goal against Spurs was a brilliant one and that short of ball wins you game.
Gyokeres has finally picked up. He scored 2 brilliant goals against Spurs and was moving better through out the game. Frankly I was disappointed so far with him, but he has got 10 games + CL + FA Cup + Carabao Cup games to prove me wrong.
Right, I will keep it short but I promise I will be more active. 3 very exciting months ahead for us, where we can win everything. Lets hope we do.

We have options at LB – Calafiori and MLS if something is to happen to Hincapie.
White can cover for Timber but he has hardly played this season, and to come at this stage where every game is a knockout or virtual knockout, without match fitness is going to harm us.
Hopefully it’s a small one for Timber and he will be back.
Don’t take me wrong, I love Ben and he is a great RB. Only if he had more game time and rotations, I wouldn’t be so worried.
Saliba got hit badly by Raya.
Looks groggy
Good Saliba is back. FB are built tough
You can’t complain Timber’s injured when Ben White cost £50 million and and had become a good right back.
Complaining more about the manager to overplay the defence unit and underplay the CF.
Ambarish
Good rotation and Arteta mix like oil and water, Wicksy and TRVL, me and not drinking, the Spud’s and trophies.
Great save from Raya.
Its very possible that we’re going to hear one of the managers scream “Stop bunching” any minute now.
A draw today would be kind of a loss to us. We can’t afford to drop points to the likes of Everton when Man City are breathing down our neck.
I thought that was in then.
Ambarish – a draw today puts it back in City’s hands.
That’s a huge goal.
Batman and Dowman. 3 points
#COYG and fuck the spurs.
Who could have guessed putting an attacking midfielder and a CF could get you a goal.
We really need to get a new coach to bring Dowman through – he looks like such a special talent.
Marc
Nwaneri is out loan and we said the same about him. Let us just accept that Mikel has no intention and time to groom a youngster. He will buy some one in the summer and Downman will be out on loan in December.
Thrilled for Dowman.
Now bring me Arteta’s head.
Max Dowman – THE YOUNGEST GOAL SCORER IN PREMIER LEAGUE HISTORY!
What a goal and performance from a kid. Be brave like today, Mikel and things will be just fine.
Ambarish
No I think Dowman looks a different level. He could be actually special.
Dowman made the difference in both Arsenal goals. First it was a flighted ball which Hincapie pushed in with body and Gyojeres scored.
The 2nd his brave run after a feint which made it possible.
Hope Dowman stands up to El B who will strive to break his confidence
