CL – Napoli vs Arsenal – Gyokeres gets his first start

This just confirms Gyokeres is reduced to a back up to Havertz and the rumours are not to be believed of his fitness. Hincapie starts ahead of Calafiori, Merino gets a run in the midfield and Tzolis makes way for our newest Left Wing signing – Eberachi Eze.

Mid week football is back and we are playing Napoli today in the Champions League. De Bruyne starts in the midfield for them, Hojlund upfront and that’s all I know of them. Allegri, was appointed only in July and prefers a 4-3-3 defensive style of play. They have very poor ball possession stats this season so far, and I don’t think they will try to improve it in this game.

Gyokeres is getting the Martinelli treatment, preferred in Champions League against lesser opponents and only getting few minutes of Premier League football as a substitute. I don’t care as long as we keep winning.

We have some tough opponents later on to play against – Bayern, Dortmund, Mourinho’s Madrid and we can’t afford to drop points. I am also curious to see Eze on the left wing, he has mostly played in the midfield for us and we are in a serious need of someone finding themselves to be a winger suddenly. Eze could be the one.

Right, again, a very short one today. The game is about to begin, I will be there in the comment section.

That weird red short combo again. 2 nil win I predict.

Notice I didn’t say anything cunty like, ‘as I previously said’…

Our red shirt with red shorts just doesn’t look right.

Four games into the season and we’re already seeing the massive failure of not bringing in another left sided attacker.

Can someone please tell me the point of accumulating DM’s if you’re not going to play one tonight? Rice doesn’t play as a DM, Merino isn’t a DM and I’ve no problem with a bit of rotation but why not start Zubi?

KP—KP—I would suspect that everyone gets juiced the fuck up to play Napoli if for no other reason than the asshole manner in which de Laurentiis conducts his business…you just know how MA feels about the potential threat of Napoli by his starting 11, which isn’t a reflection of my own personal opinion of said players who’ve yet to start

I’ve finally put my money where my mouth is by cancelling my Dazn subscription, so this will be my last CL match at home until the finals…I’m fucking sick and tired of paying $700+ per year to watch our 2K squad in 4K…I’ll still get all the PL fixtures, as it comes with my NFL package, but until the settling fucks up top buy some world-class forwards I’m not going to fill their already overflowing pockets any further…no fucking new kits either

We were almost carved open there.

I don’t understand the red shorts as well. Saka is learning some acrobatics. 2-1 I reckon, with Saka and Gyokeres scoring for us.

That should have been a goal. Lets fucking go…

Bukayo has missed a hattrick so far.

  8. Kroenkephobe

Saka’s last miss just before h-t was bordering on criminal

KP—it’s why you buy world-class finishers…our last fixture out was a total anomaly with Havertz scoring from the edge of the box and Ode actually putting a strike on target

  10. Kroenkephobe

Really frustrating to watch. They look a bit complacent.

  11. Marc

Saka looks knackered – he should be making an overlapping run there.

I wonder how long before the cunt starts running players into the ground?

stellar strike by Ode…it’s been awhile since a strike of that level…good on him

the fact that KDB didn’t elect to shoot on that chance might have saved us from an ugly draw

based on what I’ve seen Allegri could have done what Arteta has done in 6+ years in about 6 months, with a fraction of the budget…either way some unattractive football would have been on the fucking menu

That was a classic example of how to control a game of football away from home in Europe..
Apart from the goal our finishing was woeful , 4-0 would have been a true reflection of how we dominated the game..
I feel it was a game that both Saka and Rice could have sat out, it would have been a perfect game for zubimendi and madueke to start as Napoli allowed Arsenal so much time and space which is something you rarely see in the premier league.
Konsa is proving to be an excellent signing , Gyokeres has little idea how to find space on a football pitch, Eze was quiet and Odegaard was the best player on the pitch, it was the perfect game for him as Napoli allowed him to dictate the game …

Ooh no new kits, how will the club survive..twat

it’s got to start somewhere you know-nothing gutless pawn…grow a fucking spine
