Ornstein is probably the most reliable journalist out there reporting about Arsenal transfers and he has dropped a bomb a few hours back. It looks like we are thinking of bringing Vinicius Junior to London, and the club is fine with it at all levels. Vini is in his last year of his contract and Madrid certainly wouldn’t want him to leave for free in 12 months time. Also, Mourinho, the new manager at Madrid, knows a thing or two about discipline and Vinicius might not be happy about it.
I don’t have mixed feelings about Vinicius. He is one of the best wingers and is equally good if played centrally. We need attacking mindset players who can deliver, and bully teams who play a low block against us. I don’t care if he is a bit of a drama queen, I mean I am open to Kardashians if they can score 20 goals a season in a midfield role.
Vinicius is one of the best players on the planet. He will bring everything we need and some more. It would be a signing that could define our next 5 seasons and help us win a lot more trophies. I would love him at the club and I don’t fucking care if he costs 300 million in transfer fees and wages. We are the Champions of England, and Vinicius could help us get to the Champions of Europe.
Done deal
We spent 34m on Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge. I haven’t watched him much but it looks to be like for like replacement of Leandro Trossard. He is direct, and contributes a lot in goals and assists. In his previous season for Club Brugge, he scored 22 goals and 16 assists for 39 games he played, that’s almost a goal or assist each game and even if he brings in half of that end product, he would be a better winger than Martinelli.
He is a Belgian title winner. He will do better at Arsenal.
In talks
I don’t understand the infatuation toward Bruno Guimaraes as we are ready to go with a 70m GBP contract to Newcastle. He is 28 years old, so it could be an important factor for us to win the next few trophies and he can rotate with Zubimendi in the DM role but I think we are bringing him to be the primary man.
I still think that’s a lot of money and I personally never wanted to see that cunt at Emirates but hey, it’s not my money and if he can help us win some more, I wouldn’t mind.
The transfer window is heating up. We have a title winning team and making it even better will require some of the best players on the planets, which would require a lot of money.
We have money.

Christos Tzolis – played for Norwich in the PL before and was a dismal failure. He’s now playing in the powerhouse of a league that is Belgium. He might have kicked on and his previously skint in the PL could have been the wrong club or the wrong time but Trossard was a proven PL player.
Guimaraes – this one I can’t see not happening. For Arteta a transfer window without an unnecessary big money spend on a defensive player is like a day without sunshine.
Vinicius Junior – Not in a million fucking years. He’s one of the highest profile players in the world so the chances of him leaving Madrid (one of if not the biggest club in world) are remote. If he did leave he’s not going to come to play for Arteta a manager so dull the club have had to stop serving tea / coffee with milk because Arteta’s brand of football makes the milk curdle.
Signing Vinicius Junior would actually be a financial disaster for the club – the cost in fee and salary only for Arteta to fall out with him in 6 months and pay him off to leave would be staggering.
I think it’s the Arsenal asking Ornstein to tweet about it and not Vinicius..
So the interest is real. Though, Vinicius is just gonna use it to get a better wage at Madrid.
One thing though, Ronaldo tried it earlier and ended up at Juventus. With Mourinho in charge, I doubt you can blackmail, neither the club nor the manager.

I am gonna see what happens. It’s a pickle for me this.

Chelsea sold Salah, one of the best Premier League players in recent years. You can’t doubt someone unless he gets in and plays a game or two.
Anyways, Mikel don’t mind wasting 35 off millions for fuck all.
And we surely gonna get Guimaraes. I don’t want him at my club but it is what it is. He is a cunt and we are too class for the likes of him.
Zubimendi lost us couple of games last season, and that could have cost us the title. It didn’t and I think the club realised that they can’t depend on him when things go bad. There couldn’t be any other reason we are willing to spend 80 million for a 28 years old with a very bad reputation.
Speaking after the loss to Paris Saint-Germain in May, Arteta said: “It is going to demand us to be very, very ambitious, very fast and very smart.”
If you didn’t know by now our MIT will say just about anything to appease his blinders base…as for all this Junior chatter it’s likely just another attempt by management to pretend that we’re really an ambitious club…now Real might be just holding the line until they can secure the services of Diamonde, but even so I’m not sure Junior’s 140+M price tag and his 500,000/week salary demands would make much sense for an endlessly sideways set piece dependent side like us…if Havertz is worth just under 300,000/week then Junior should demand at least 4 times that amount…tbf I did say that we need to hire on the kind of players who can come good in spite of the manager and he potentially fits that bill, so it would be hypocritical of me to speak ill of any such move…I still think it’s far more likely that we end up with a bunch of much cheaper retread options, like Stones and Watkins, or younger players who’ve raised their profile during the WC, but are only getting looks from sides that have neither the cachet nor the finances to compete…let’s face it we’re the masters of the “No Plan” plan

Chelsea (Jose), besides selling salah also sold debruyne, probably 2 of the worst decisions ever in football.
Personally I’d prefer Mbappe at any price rather than Vinicius, and who’s to say that Jose won’t make another monumental cock up by letting Mbappe go.

I love some fun meself, Vinicius is a chaos and in the little fingers voice – Chaos is a ladder.
Mbappe is a Madrid fan, he won’t leave them now. Brazillian are chaotic and fun. If Martinelli played in a Klopp system, we would have been laughing at Vini transfer because we would have our own, and Mikel, just like his teacher, wants more control than chaos.
I would give up one of my kidneys for some chaos.
Talking about chaos, would you replace Saka if you get to play prime Alexis Sanchez?
