You didn’t expect Wolves, who are sitting in 20th position, to do you a favor, did ya? Man City closed down the gap by 3 points today and it’s now in our hands to extend the lead back to 7 points by beating our legacy rivals. Man Utd are crap, lets be real. But they still sit at 5th position, ahead of Chelsea, Newcastle and Spurs. They are only a point behind Liverpool and they know few wins could get them into the Champions League. They have something to play for, so do we – and we will find out tomorrow who wants it more.
Calafiori and Hincapie will be assessed before the game but it’s fine to say we will have a fully fit squad for the first time this season. Mikel will have everyone in front of him to pick for his playing XI, and our next game in a not important CL games against Kairat. So, yeah – lets go for everything.
If I have to pick, I will do the usuals. Raya in goal, with Timber, Saliba, Gabriel and Calafiori in defence. A midfield of Odegaard, Zubimendi and Rice will do where Rice plays in a more advance role. I would pick Saka, Gyokeres and Martinelli as front 3, but won’t mind Trossard if Mikel finds him more contributing to our game.
16 games left. 7 points lead (4 but then City has played one extra game). A Premier League trophy we have been dreaming of since THE INVINCIBLES. That was in 2003-04, about 23 years ago. There are some Arsenal fans who can vote, marry and have a kid but haven’t seen us lift the trophy.
And then, we have a billion dollar squads, most of which have finished 2nd three seasons in a row. Most of them had the heart breaks, some of them were exhausted, some would have punched a wall. Some of them are on big fat wages, some renewed, some joined from other clubs to be a part of red and white in the hope of winning something. NOW IS THE TIME. Mikel and the team does all the talk, but we need to walk the walk.
I know there is still a long way to go, 16 weeks of Premier League football and we would see a lot of ups and downs, but I am not wrong to say it’s ours to lose now. Man Utd, under Carrick, will try their best to stop us. Can we sustain the pressure? Can we keep our winning run?
We will find out. See you in the comments.

MA’s favouite, the own goal/set piece combo pack
OG scored . Arsenal should hire more OGs

Arteta’s under pressure and reverts to form (basic human characteristic).
What the fuck was the second goal – that’s got to be the worst defending I’ve seen in years from a corner.
Hoopah
TVRL’s started a petition to get him a shirt number.
we should just keep kicking it to their GK, he might get so flustered that he just might turn around and kick it into his own goal
Can’t figure out El B gesticulation. Seems pointless in that instant situation. Players normally have been ignoring it for last 4 years
Some decent stuff in the build up and looking pretty resolute at the back. Actual chances few and far between. No sign of Zubi’s confidence affected by the horror display against Manure. Madueke looking good.
Hoopah
Hi mate. No point trying to work him out. He’s an utter bastard.
7th own goal since the start of December…he might be our new Striker, as he’s our most productive offensive asset
Leeds 0.02 XG in the first half
that’s on VG…if he can’t convert on the rare opportunity when he gets behind the last defender he’s going to find himself on the outside looking in real soon
child’s play…if that’s the blueprint for the oppositioin against us we should win the PL with relative ease
opposition
This really is a strange season. West Ham who started the day not only in the bottom 3 but 6 points behind the Leeds team who basically just lost to us by throwing the ball into their own net are playing Chelsea who started the day 5th off the park.
And as I wrote that Chelsea scored!

“child’s play…if that’s the blueprint for the oppositioin against us we should win the PL with relative ease”
Depends how you look at it , Chelsea Liverpool and United have failed to win at Elland road , whereas we ripped leeds apart in the 2nd half , so I would look at the quality of our play throughout the team as to the reason why we now sit 7pts clear at the top of the league.
The incredible strength of the league is playing out now with relegation threatened west ham winning 2-0 at the Bridge against the same Chelsea side who won away to napoli in the week and in doing so finished in the top 8 in Europe and in doing so automatically qualified for the last 16.
I know that goes against your idea of the blueprint for the league but the facts don’t lie , 5 Premier league sides finished in the top 8
Wicksy
The PL quality is not good this season – Liverpool and City are way off the standard expected of them. Most other teams are inconsistent hence the mixed results.
You want to talk up the quality of the PL to make Arteta look better but he’s a cunt and always will be.
Cunt.
Pricksy—you’re the gift that keeps on giving
(1) two of the teams you mentioned have sacked their respective managers since then and the other has.been on the fucking hot seat for months…I wonder what that might suggest you stunned cunt…in fact, Enzo’s exodus from Chelsea first took shape on the heels of their Leeds loss, when the former manager openly criticized his lack of first team options…so context matters you twat
(2) I asked AI “why the PL is so shitty this year” and this was it’s repsonse:
“Key Reasons for Negative Sentiment
Tactical “Old-School” Shift: There is a notable return to conservative tactics, including long throw-ins and a heavy reliance on set-pieces. Goal-scoring from open play has struggled; Arsenal, for instance, is heavily dependent on dead-ball situations.
Reduced Ball-in-Play Time: The ball has been in play just 54.7% of the time this season, a drop from 57.1% last season, leading to a slower and more disrupted rhythm.
“Big Six” Struggles: Most of the traditional “Big Six” are underperforming. Manchester City has “stuttered,” while Chelsea and Manchester United have already made mid-season managerial changes due to poor results. Tottenham is currently mired in the bottom half of the table (14th).
Physicality over Skill: Analysts and players, including Anthony Gordon, have noted the league is more physical and “relentless” than ever, often at the expense of free-flowing skill and dribbling.
Competitive Context (Standings as of Jan 31, 2026)
Only 7 points separate 5th place from 15th, making every match high-stakes but often cautious, as teams play “not to lose”.”
Who the fuck do you think is the managerial poster boy for all of this austere blunt instrument nonsense??? not to mention, does that sound like the kind of League anyone should be bragging about? fuck me Everton and Fulham are in the hunt for European positions
(3) Chelsea beat West Ham you know-nothing cherry-picking fucktard
(4) today was just another stealing candy from a baby affair…chickenshit pragmatic managers scouring the calendar for soft spots then basically mailing it in on those less favourable nights…no one would ever come away from that match thinking that Leeds set themselves up to earn points…they played like a team hoping to not get waxed…sadly that approach oft-times leads to the very outcome they most feared, a fucking blowout that takes a huge steaming dump all over your differential…serves them right for being so fucking negative…the fact that we have struggled for goals recently, League-wise that is, combined with the gutless and guileless tendencies of our manager away from home, begs the question why wouldn’t you just have a go…what’s the worst that could happen, you lose 4-0?!?
(5) tbh this Leeds side has a real MA feel to it, with their luck and chance crosses from wide, their propensity to choose the more negative pass 90% of the time and their similarly uncanny ability to dominate possession for 10 minutes at a time without generating anything of consequence…sadly for them they’re missing the two most important elements of MA’s ingenious plan, having a horseshoe or 7 shoved up your ass and a Billion+ dollar operating budget
FU
The game is in the gutter.
Ruined by poncy frauds in tight trousers , their micro managing bollocks and whiteboards.Act normal or fuck off.
Mind, enjoyed the last 45 mins v Chelsea and West Ham and the pile up at the end.
More of that please and less everyone covering their lips when they talk.
No one gives a shit what you say, you pampered over indulged cunts.
