We are welcoming Man City at Home today. With United and Spurs hardly relevant these days, we had got a new enemy and MLS made sure to remove your doubts about it with his Haaland celebration after scoring one last season. Today – it’s going to be the continuation of that.
Pep has lost some of his gems recently and has been trying to fix it. He hasn’t find a solution yet, but even at his worst, he can find a way to win. We have got two tasks today, to not let him win and because we are going for the title, to make sure we walk out of the game with 3 points. If you can’t beat the City or Liverpool at home, you don’t expect to win the league.

I was furious last week when Mikel picked up a midfield of Merino, Zubimendi and Rice against Athelti. We won the game but it was too slow in the transition and it took an individual brilliance of Martinelli to break the deadlock. Mikel has chosen the same midfield again today, and that’s the Mourinho’s way of handling Pep. I can understand the feeling that not losing it today is important to keep the confidence running in boys, but it doesn’t mean I agree with it.
If you gonna be best, you gotta take out the best. You can’t do that by going all defensive. We have got Eze, who is a natural Odegaard’s replacement, we have Nwaneri who was kept and given a new contract for that very position and yet, we go with two and a half defensive midfielders if not three.
That’s bonkers!
Anyways, Saka and Martinelli are on bench with Eze. Again, seeing Trossard doesn’t make sense ahead of Marts. Against City, you want to create chaos and who’s better than the Brazillian for it?
Gyokeres retains his place, at least Mikel didn’t go for an injured Havertz ahead of him, because hey, not losing is more important that winning these days. Saliba makes his way back to the team, so hopefully we would be able to contain Haaland today.

It’s still too early for the hype but with 5 wins in 5 games, Liverpool at rocking at the top. We need to be as close to them as possible because at some point, they will run out of the luck (like we did in the past couple times) and we would be able to capitalize it. City will eventually pick their 10 games to go unbeaten at some point in the season.
We are going in the game with some positives. We haven’t lost to City in our last 4 games winning 2 of them and they have lost both of the visits to Arsenal recently. Lets hope we add another win today to these stats.
A very short one today but I will be available during the game. Cheers

You hairy cunt, hope you saw that.
that’s Donna’s weakness, getting caught in no man’s land…good on the much maligned Marts to make good on his limited time on the pitch
Can someone give me a good reason why when we spent a large chunk of last season playing with Merino up front Martinelli wasn’t given a chance?
Get the fucking second
we should have been all over them after the equalizer, after all they have 8 fucking defenders on the pitch…then MA wastes the last few seconds on bringin in another defender, what a chicken shit
Arteta at his cunty worst…brings on 5 attackers to get an equaliser, then puts Mosquera on.
Pep has shat his pants. His substitutions stink , thank God
Marc
I have had mentioned in like 15 articles last season, and I know fuck all about football.. should i send an email to KSE? Can’t do any worse.
So after spending another shit load of cash that we’ve also played some accountancy games with to get the other CB in on a buy now pay later deal we’re 3 points above ManU after 6 matches who are in a crises and a full meltdown.
Ambarish
I really have no idea.
Feels like a loss. If we had started with the XI we finished the game with, we would have won this.
Ambarish
The Shetland pony pics fade ?
No ?
No hope then
there’s no world where we win major silverware if our manager believes what he did today gave us the best chance to win
🗣️ Declan Rice: “From my time here at Arsenal, we probably haven’t dominated a game against Manchester City like we did today. A point is probably fair. They went to a back five which I’ve never seen them do, they were obviously trying to hang on.”
They are all living in their fairy land.
Hoopah
Wait till Havertz is back.
Ambarish—why would Rice know anything about dominating a side, as he’s only played for Moyes, Arteta and Southgate…what a pathetic commentary…of course, he’s somewhat right about Pep’s similarly gutless approach
Heartening to see Ambarish the brilliant Indian engineer cunting people.
He will find its very therapeutic.
This week we have seen frauds
Amorim, Maresca and our moronic cunt in action.
All of them think, its about them.
We have also seen proper managers.
Slot, Enrique and Flick.
They know its all about the players and not them.
spot on AF—Enzo has some of the same gutless predilictions as our fucktard of a skipper…he was all piss and viegar in the offseason, when they won the club cup gig over PSG, but since that time he’s spending considerably more time listening to his miniscule balls…there was a reason why there was no Pep managerial tree to speak of until Arteta was gifted a job, as micromanagers rarely give away their secret sauce to their underlings (just like with Wenger.)..they’re so lucky they landed in places with deep pockets or both would have been exposed as frauds already…if Enzo doesn’t finish in the top 3 he will be sacked immediately
TVRL
The bald Chelsea cunt is exactly like our moronic cunt.
Both over promoted ex Guardiolas cock suckers.
He is past his best and burned out like what happened to Wenger, Mourinho, Klopp
and all the other renowned coaches
Secretly he must laugh that Chelsea and Arsenal appointed them.
But when you have cunt fanbases , this is the shit you will get served .
To give a balanced view of the game and our season so far I would say that lying 2nd in the league and winning our opening champions league game in a tough away tie is acceptable considering the tough fixtures we have faced in the league.
Despite what some will say , we did dominate the game with city having the lowest possession of the football in a game since pep’s arrival.
Of course this won’t impress many but the fact is that pep’s city have dominated teams for the last 8 years or so and for them to have only 32% possession and to finish the game with 10 behind the ball for almost the whole of the 2nd half shows how far we have come , plus it is now 6 games since city have beaten arsenal.
On the down side , Arteta chose a very negative starting line up and as I mentioned in the week we have failed to score with that midfield 3 on the pitch which totals almost 200 minutes now. In comparison we have scored 8 goals with Nwaneri on the pitch in about 130 minutes or so.
It’s very rare that a team will start off with 5 straight wins in the league like Liverpool so it is important that we hang in there until we get an easier run of games , Newcastle next week is probably the last fixture we need after playing United, Liverpool and city in the opening fixtures.
A couple of points caught my attention in today’s game , for city’s goal zubimendi should have made a professional foul on Haaland way back in our half , a shirt pull would have done the trick.
Eze’s ball for Martinelli’s goal was inch perfect , prior to that we pumped crosses into the box without much success , gyokeres has no spring when challenging for balls in the box and I doubt he will keep his place in the side when either jesus or havertz are fit.
In the meantime maybe Arteta will give Martinelli a run out up top but I wouldn’t hold out much hope of that happening.
