Come on Fulham!

Come on Fulham!

It has turned out to be such a strange season, that even after we playing at our best, beating teams for fun, winning at shite hart lane, keeping clean sheets more than any other teams, scoring more than anyone else – we are going to end up second! Man City just can’t lose can they?

Fulham can do us a favor, they can restrict Pep to a draw or win against them. I have zero confidence in Tottenham beating City and West Ham can’t go through them on the last day at Etihad. If something can happen, it’s today. Lets hope the gods favors us and Fulham and we get to see for once the sad face of Pep Guardiola. We have one of ours play for Fulham, Bernd Leno, who has promised that he will give his 100% to stop our competition.

There has been some happenings while I was missing. Jorginho signed the contract for another year, Mikel was full of praise for him and it basically confirms it’s time for Thomas Partey to go. I don’t believe Mikel wants to keep two 35 year olds to fight for one place when Declan Rice is a starter. If I was you Mikel, I would sell Thomas for whatever money we can get, and go into the market for a DM understudy to Rice/Jorginho.

Bayern did us dirty in the quarters. Saka was denied a clear penalty. Harry Kane got away with an elbow on Gabriel which should have been red. They weren’t so furious then about refereeing, but when it happened to them against Madrid when the offside whistle was blown a bit too early, all hell broke loose. Mr Tuchel, Karma is a bitch.

Next year’s kit has been leaked, and I am disappointed to say the least. Last season was best of Adidas, both Red and White, and the black ones were great. This season, the third kit was a standout and home one was fine too. I think I might skip the next season’s if the leaks are true.

A belated Happy Birthday to Dennis Bergkamp, you happened when I was playing cricket as 10 year old but looking back, I would have loved to see you play live. A gentlemen, a magician, red through and through.

Fabrizio reported that we are monitoring the young 18 year old Ajax centre back Jorrel Hato. He has a deal till 2028 and he will be an investment for the future. We most certainly need a third regular CB to rotate with Saliba and Gabriel without hampering our game play. White/Tomi are CB but we haven’t seen them play there, and we don’t know if they will turn out to be equally good. If it costs us 10 odd million, I would say go for it.

Sacking news have started about Pochettino. He talked about an interview, the content doesn’t really matter but if the manager comes out and talks about it, either he is fearful he will be sacked, or he knows he will. Chelsea has just moved from a billionaire russian who managed to win things to a billionaire american who can’t make things happen. Loving it.

Right, and Ten Hag just can’t stop talking about us can he?

quite the dire looking lineup for United, which should make things unusually easy for us at Old Trafford…the only potential roadblock is if we underestimate what this match might mean to those on the cusp and/or in the shop window…typically that wouldn’t be enough to get a totally unsettled lineup over the line against what should be a frightfully better side, but you should never count your chickens…just can’t see anything but a one-sided scoreline in our favour, regardless of the history between us…to me it feels like the United side, much like the Hammers before them, have intentionally laid an egg or two so as to ensure a managerial change come the off-season…for United, this might have been sparked by some rumours that made the rounds, prior to United’s shocking 4-0 defeat, about the possibility of ten Hag returning due to the potential financial and organizational ramifications of his ousting

I was at Lands End listening to the 8-2 loss in the car with my son. My wife and daughter were walking near the edge – we almost ran past them and jumped.

Tony-because even he knows he’s Havertz

  4. The Real Vieira Lynn

Havertz should have given both Ode and Saka a better option there

  5. We’re getting bullied at times which has stunted our game

  6. NORG

Tony – Havertz needs half a dozen touches before he is comfortable about making a shot. Meanwhile the United defenders have taken their phones out of their pockets and ordered their after game meal.

  7. Rice needs to keep more in midfield we’re being overrun

  8. Rice looks nervy because he’s playing an unnatural position up top.

  9. Kroenkephobe

We’re leaving too many spaces in midfield

  10. The Real Vieira Lynn

I know I’ve said it before, but I’m really concerned about MA’s plans for Marts moving forward…I wouldn’t be shocked if we sold him off to the highest bidder, thus proving that finally have the capacity to get a handsome return on one of our assets, then bought another wide-side forward and not a Striker in the summer…this is why I was so perturbed by all the nonsenses surrounding the notion of Havertz being the answer up top, along side a now much more adventurous Rice

    “we” finally have

  12. Hav’s assist and Tross the boss making it look easy.

    Now let’s go to work🙏

  13. Kroenkephobe

    Alpha Tross. Great buildup.

  14. Kroenkephobe

Muito obrigado Casemiro! What the fuck was he doing?

  15. The Real Vieira Lynn

Casemiro has become a real albatross in this United side…not only did he leave Havertz onside, due to his utter laziness, he likewise provided no defensive coverage on the pass to Tross

  16. Kroenkephobe

United amble forward when they don’t have the ball and don’t press. Really lazy team.

  17. I’d like to see Rice link up with Tross more and Tomi linking up on the left to take the right side dominant tactic. It’s too easy to defend when you know where the ball is going

  18. The Real Vieira Lynn

ten Hag has become a caricature of his former self since arriving here…it’s clear that the promises made to him were quickly scuttled by upper management when they made moves that have hampered his ability to shape the team in his preferred image…he’s likewise had his balls clipped on multiple occasions when the powers that be sided with the players when they were clearly in the wrong…I would suspect that he will land somewhere where the lights aren’t quite so bright and he will resurrect his career enough to get another prime time gig

  19. Kroenkephobe

Not sure that’s in any tackling textbooks but Partey did well there.

  20. The Real Vieira Lynn

we need to definitely work on our stretch passing…I remember all the talk surrounding White’s supposed elite level passing skills, for a CB that is, but I can’t thnk of a single instance when he unlocked a defence from distance…I get that when you’re a more possession-based side opting for such low percentage pass is deemed counterintuitive, but there have been times when having that capacity could have served us well, like against both City and Bayern, who are both vulnerable to just such a tacitcal approach

  21. Kroenkephobe

Hojlund with a lisping Harry special on Saliba

  22. TRVL
TH time at Ajax wasn’t a fluke so I suspect you’re right.

Need to dominate early in the second half and get a quick second goal.

    tactical

  24. The Real Vieira Lynn

we had better hope that United continues to struggle mightily in the final third, as we’re inviting pressure far more than we ever should against this particular side

  25. If Rice sits in in our mid with Partey we will snuff out their early stages of attack, and can counter ourselves. I feel Rice is playing too high up as Ramsey did. Against lesser teams it isn’t a problem, but Ten Hag has anticipated it and we are porous in midfield. If Riced is up someone needs to tuck in with Partey. White or Tomi who are up with Rice.

Man U had s 72% possession, got the ball up too but had no one at the top who could strike the ball on the turn, so lost it as the players did their gear changing to get into possession.
Right side kid only did on good through pass. Normally stopped perplexed and passed back , allowing Arsenal players to take possession. Ten Hag is currently s deeply flawed manager.

  27. Manure have many kids playing on enthusiasm alone, TRVL, so are too inexperienced against us. Trouble is we aren’t making them pay for it in goals.

Another petulant kid would be better off being loaned, KP, Hojlund. Lucky for us they have the Glaziers but Ratcliffe will be problem in the future.

  28. The Real Vieira Lynn

ten Hag success at Ajax required a more youthful side so as to properly deploy his possession-heavy high pressing tactics, but the recruitment practices at United have let him down, as they opted for a whole host of players who were ill-equipped or unwilling to buy into that approach…in many ways it reminds me of Emery’s time here, when he had no say whatsoever when it came to the recruitment side of things

  29. Hoopah.

After going under with their 72% possession in first half, Man U will not be able to sustain the initial second half tempo. Guess we should get a 3-1 victory of the our resident Nostradamus Kroenkephobe

  30. Kroenkephobe

    Saliba-ba-ba-ba!

  31. The Real Vieira Lynn

it’s clear we came here today quite willing to settle for a 1-0 scoreline, which I can somewhat understand considering the stakes…I’m sure MA felt that the unfamiliarity of this United side would gift us with enough opportunities that there was no need to open up or press too hard…not to mention, as the match wore on, their lack of depth would likely allow us to score a time or three in the latter stages

  32. The Real Vieira Lynn

Garnacho seems to be channelling his inner Sancho today

  33. The Real Vieira Lynn

finally a noteworthy flick from our resident giraffe

  34. The Real Vieira Lynn

if Bissaka couldn’t handle the much slower Trossard, we should be totally focused on providing a well-rested Marts with plenty of 1 v.1 opportunities in the last 20+minutes

  35. Wondering when we’re going to get out of second gear?

  36. The Real Vieira Lynn

with all that possession it seems almost unthinkable that it took almost 70 minutes for United to get their first shot on target…just goes to show how pathetic they’ve been in the business end of the pitch, thankfully for us

  37. Kroenkephobe

Shteve ‘van der Valk’ Mclaren provides the Dutch connection at Manure, not EtH. Will show you all a wickedly funny clip after the game.

  38. Hoopah.

The changes made by Man U is too many variables for El B to process…by the look on his face

  39. The Real Vieira Lynn

the only way you don’t totally question our tactics today is if we take all 3, but I guess that oft-times is the case at this time of the season
